As a Developer Advocate, you will apply your Python or TypeScript and database application development skills to help DBOS users succeed as they discover and build transactional serverless computing applications on DBOS. To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about sharing your DBOS application development knowledge with others through tutorials, video snippets, conference talks, hackathon mentorship, and social media. Since we are a remote-first startup company, you must be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Uncover the common issues Python and TypeScript developers face when learning and using DBOS.
  • Create tutorials, explainer videos, docs guides, and blog posts to help users discover and succeed with DBOS
  • Engage with users on the DBOS community Discord forum, on social channels, and in local hackathons.
  • Collaborate with engineering to influence the product roadmap as the voice of the community.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years software engineering, solution engineering, experience.
  • 1+ year of developer relations/advocacy experience.
  • Familiarity with the cloud-native application development and DBMS technology.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the US for events.
